Confirmed! Tamera Mowry is to Get Her First Baby!
Ten months after her fellow sibling actress Tia gave birth, it is now Tamera’s turn to give birth to her young one for the very first time. “Adam and I are excited about having a baby and the blessing that he or she will bring to our lives and to our family and friends;we can’t wait to meet this little miracle!”chirps Mowry.
The couple, Tamera Mowry and Adam Housley, is expecting to have their first new-born baby around November this year. The actress announced that she was excited about becoming a mother despite having initial disbelief. She said that she does not want to be too strict with the baby, insteadtry and be quite lenient with him/her. She said that she is rather going to balance it. She also assured the press that she won’t spoil the baby too much. “I’ll probably cry at everything – every milestone, every achievement. I did that with my brothers. I hope I will be a great mom. Every mom-to-be says that, and they say if you’re thinking that, you will be” Tamera gushed with excitement.
She initially said “I was shocked at first. I kept looking at the double lines on the test. I couldn’t talk for two minutes. I kept saying, oh gosh! It was a feeling I can’t describe. It was the happiest I had ever felt.”
Quenching the happiest moment of the soon-to-be-mom, she finally had the power to inform about this to his hubby and the soon-to-be-father Adam.“I actually texted Adam with a picture of two pregnancy tests and said, ‘Happy early Father’s Day!’” as Tamera recalls how she said to Adam that she is finally pregnant. Her shocked husband coldly replied “Cool!”
While the couple haven’t yet confirmed the gender of their growing child, the couple sited that they want their first-born to be a boy because the thought of raising a girl is scaring the couple. “I want a boy because I have two brothers whom I love and adore” Tamera told MyStyle.com. “I helped raise my brothers so I have somewhat of an experience raising boys. I haven’t the slightest idea about raising a girl. It’s like the unknown”.
Tamera added that Adam would be a ‘hands-on’ dad. She also said that Adam loves kids and he loves to be around them. She had seen howher husband treated his nephews and nieces and she loved to see him doing that.
The time for the delivery is in November this very year and hence her fans will get some time to anticipate. As of now, all she can do is show off her baby bump and amuse them. But before Tamera gets involved in the business of handling her kid, a second season of “Tamera and Tia” is going to be aired on television from June 11.
