Demi Moore 911 call released: actress was ‘convulsing’ and ‘burning up’

The 911 call placed from Demi Moore’s home earlier this week has been released.

An unidentified female friend of the actress can be heard telling the dispatcher that Moore — referred to as Demi — was “shaking, convulsing [and] burning up.”

Another unidentified woman said Moore was “semi-conscious.” She said Moore had “smoked something” that was not marijuana, but is similar to incense.

When the dispatcher asks if Moore has “done this before,” the woman answers, “I don’t know. There’s been some stuff recently that we’re all just finding out.”

Portions of the tape have been redacted to protect Moore’s medical privacy, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Moore was taken to a hospital Monday after this call was made. In a statement released Tuesday, her rep said, “Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health.”
