‘Chelsea Lately’: Emmy Rossum Got Angry At A Mountain Lion

Emmy Rossum is pretty pleased that she has a pool, as they’re not easy to come by in Manhattan. She even has a lovely view of a clearing and cypress trees as well. On “Chelsea Lately” (Weeknights, 11 p.m. EST on E!) she revealed, though, that such luxury comes with a price.

If pools are hard to come by, it could be that the mountain lion she found drinking from hers one day had traveled quite a ways to find it, and was rather thirsty indeed.

“I didn’t have the fear instinct,” she said of discovering the animal. “I had the New-York-outraged instinct. I was like, What the hell are you doing?” Luckily, the mountain lion wasn’t inclined to responsd with any instincts of its own, or Rossum might not have been available for that interview or the second season of Showtime’s “Shameless,” kicking off Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 9 p.m. EST.
