Jesse James: I’m no big shot

On Monday Jesse James appeared on “American Chopper: The Build-Off” and brought some of that patented reality-TV drama along for the ride.

“I became a big shot and married some Hollywood actress and didn’t talk to anybody anymore, so I feel bad,” he said, obviously referring to his third ex-wife, Sandra Bullock. “I feel obligated to reconnect with all these people and show ‘em that I’m still the same fabricator motorcycle guy. I’m not what I became.”

For fans hoping to see more of the 42-year-old bad-boy bike builder, a new reality series is in the works and could be on air this spring.

“I think people are tired of hearing about my personal life and ready to see me work again,” James told the Los Angeles Times. “People have almost forgot that I am one of the best in the world at what I do.” (B.J. HAMMERSTEIN – Detroit Free Press)
