Justin Bieber accused of battering photographer

The Canadian teenage pop-sensation Justin Bieber has been accused of assaulting a photographer trying to take his photos at a uptown shopping center. The deputies of the Los Angeles County sheriff were investigating the complaint, said police on Monday.

The police received a complaint from a man on Sunday saying that Bieber physically assaulted him while he had tried to take the pictures of the singer with his girlfriend in an outdoor shopping area in Calabasas.

Police refused to provide any further details regarding the scuffle or the nature of injuries borne by the man.

The news site TMZ.com stated that the reporter was a proficient celeb photographer. The website also reported that the photographer was blocking Bieberís car, which annoyed the singer. Bieber told the man to go but he refused and the scuffle started.

TMZ also informed that a lawyer came up toed the paparazzo after the scuffle and suggested him to call ambulance and file a police complain so that he could collect handsome amount as compensation.

Bieber’s publicist was not available for immediate comment.
