Bank of America’s online banking crashes
According to Bank of America, its website of online banking crashed on Friday. Due to the crash, customers could not access their accounts for the interim. Customers were trying to get into their accounts from Friday morning but it showed a message instead reading like ‘temporarily unavailable’.
Bank of America Corp assured that they took this issue seriously and had been working to fix the problem. However, they did not elaborate on the outage caused from this crash. A spokesman from the bank Mark Pipitone said through an e-mail that they were responsive about this current issue and trying to address the problem as fast as possible. They also informed to work intimately with their customers in order to ease any worries.
On their Facebook page, the bank made a frank respond to its customers saying that they were functioning to determine system problems distressing direct deposits like Social Security checks and instance payroll, phone-banking and online banking access, etc. A few hours later, the lender proclaimed that they had resolved the problems.
On its Facebook page, the bank authority apologized on late Friday for the unexpected inconvenience of its customers.
