Beyonce’s Reunion Performance With Destiny’s… by hollywoodnow

Sunday’s Super Bowl gave the chance to millions of fans to see their cherished celebrities Beyonce Knowles, Michelle Williams, and Kelly Rowland. The celebrities received applauses of millions of fans during ‘Destiny’s Child’ reunion at Super Bowl on Sunday.

La Tavia Roberson, who was a member of Destiny’s Child earlier in its first manifestation, said that she had always loved these ladies, especially the performance of Beyonce had always been an inspiration to her. In addition, it was a crucial moment for the now-defunct band and a highlight of the career of all the band members. Before announcing her next world tour, Beyonce called the moment as a proud one for African American women.

On Monday, Roberson said to Celebuzz that it was a real surprise when both Michelle and Kelley came up on the stage this way.

LeToya Luckett and Roberson were the original members of ‘Destiny’s Child’. However, they left the group in 2000 and tried to start their own band known as ‘Angel’. ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’, a documentary on Bravo, showed this incident. However, the band failed to achieve anything and was defunct ultimately.

Farrah Franklin and Michelle Williams filled the positions in the band left by Robertson and Luckett. However, other members dismissed Franklin later on for her lack of interest for the band. The Destiny’s Child became a band of trio but Rowland and Beyonce ultimately started their own separate career.

Robertson was exuberated over the halftime performance of Beyonce. She said on Twitter that her former fellow band member just murdered it. By describing the show ‘incredible’ on Twitter, Luckett said that it was the most entertaining Super Bowl she had ever seen in her life. On the other hand, Franklin just showed her gratitude to a fan who insisted her to be a part of the Super Bowl’s halftime show.
