Composer Marvin Hamlisch has died at the age of 68. The reason of this critically acclaimed composer’s death was unknown.

Throughout his career, he has composed the scores of more than 40 films including ‘The Way We Were’ that helped him winning two Oscars. For the Broadway musical ‘A Chorus Line’, staged in 1975, he earned a Pulitzer and a Tony award.

Jennifer Lawrence is going to pocket a big amount for the sequel of ‘The Hunger Games’. The sequel ‘Catching Fire’ is likely to give her a contract worth of $10 million. For the first film, she earned only $500,000 while the film did a worldwide business of more than $683 million.

The release date of Baz Luhrmann’s ‘The Great Gatsby’ has been changed. While it was expected to be released in December, the new schedule has been fixed for summer of 2013. It means that the 3D adaptation of the classic play has no chance to compete for Oscars in February.
