Student office vandalized at Boston College Law School
The BC officials said that vandals scribbled homophobic words on the walls of a place where a group of LGBT students used to meet. The incident happened over the weekend and the office was in a Boston College Law School.
Boston College Police have been investigating the matter. A spokesman for the BC, Jack Dunn, said that the doors of the building and office were found unlocked and the graffiti was spotted inside the office on Tuesday morning.
A co-chairman of the Lambda association Jason Triplett said he had always felt safe on the campus and had never thought that such a misdeed could have happened at BC Law School. However, Triplett said that the administration responded really fast and took prompt action. The dean of the school Vincent Rougeau immediately left a meeting as soon as he had known about the graffiti.
Apart from homophobic words, racial slurs were also written on the walls of the office.
